Terre Alfieri in Paniere
The “Terre Alfieri in Paniere” project, realized in the framework of PSR 2014/2020, Sub-measure 16.4 year 2022 CUP J56C23000150009, aims at valorizing the typical products of Terre Alfieri, particularly the wines produced in the area: Terre Alfieri DOCG Arneis, Terre Alfieri DOCG Nebbiolo, Barbera d’Asti DOCG and Cisterna d’Asti DOC, which will help introduce the other local food and wine specialties to a wider audience.
As part of this project, a basket of local high-quality products representative of the area was created, with an eye to sustainability and tradition, in the hopes of increasing their visibility thanks to the Wine Shop of the Enoteca Regionale Colline Alfieri.
The wines will be joined by a selection of typical products from local farms: capons from San Damiano d’Asti, fresh and cured meats, cheese, honey, marmalades and jams, pickles and flours, thus promoting their respective production chains.
The partner companies with the related products that concern the basket are:
- Agrisalumeria Luiset di Casetta Mauro: cured meats and sausages;
- Azienda Agricola Ponte Ballerine: PAT Honey from Piedmont;
- Azienda Agricola Cascina Margherita: saffron, flours, vegetables, cheeses and PAT Capon of San Damiano d’Asti
- Woodland apicoltura di Iacopo Vigilante: PAT Honey from Piedmont;
- Azienda Agricola Agrituristica “Bricco Gallo” di Granzino Marco: meats and cured meats;
- Azienda Agricola Canta Lucia: PAT Capon of San Damiano d’Asti;
- Azienda Agricola Il Buon Seme di Vergnano Luisa: flours, biscuits and jams.
The Enoteca Regionale Colline Alfieri sells directly from its Wine Shop, in Piazza Libertà at San Damiano d’Asti, ensuring a physical presence in the area managed by qualified professionals, whose goal is to promote, publicize and valorize local agricultural production. In this particular context, the aim of the project is to increase the visibility of Terre Alfieri products through cooperative action, and thus giving consumers access to a more ample selection of the typical products of the area.
