Barbera has always had a female connotation in Piedmont: this is now made clear by Marzia Pinotti in her book “Barbera is female!”
On June 16 Marzia (winemaker, sommelier and wine writer) will guide us in a tasting tour through some areas of Barbera in the provinces of Asti, Alessandria and Cuneo.
The tour will be accompanied by the producers of the wines featured in the book:

Enrico Dogliotti – La Spinetta
Fabrizio Iuli – Cascina Iuli

The event, organized by the Colline Alfieri Regional Enoteca, is part of the dense program of the agrimusicalletterario festival “La Barbera Incontra” that will take place on 15 – 16 – 17th June in San Damiano d’Asti.
